  1. My youngest son, soon to be 28, drives an older model BMW. He used to be an auto mechanic so he works on it himself. He works remotely as a web developer these days. I remember the 1.5 terabyte collection of music he had when he was a teen. He didn’t share or I’d have it now. I’ll have to ask him if he has The Beatles and the Stones.

    1. That is one thing I wish I knew how to do – work on cars. When I was in college, I really wanted an older classic model BMW – a 1960s BMW 2002. If it was convertible, even better. If I knew anything about cars, I might think about getting one. Great skill for your son to have (plus a web developer ain’t so bad either!)

      1. He’d probably still be a mechanic if he hadn’t had a motorcycle accident that resulted in hip and arm plates and screws. He and his roommate by cars and motorcycles, fix them up, and resell them for a profit. They have a garage outside and they use their living room to work on motorcycles.

  2. I remember those days! I survived on ramen noodles and Kraft macaroni and cheese. Hot dog buns were a luxury. Also, my first car in high school was a 1977 Dodge Aspen station wagon. I got some funny looks as a teen driving that huge car!
