  1. I laughed while reading this. Thanks! Sounds like a great hike, in any case. Tallulah Gorge in Georgia has about 1000 steps. I didn’t make it to the bottom because my legs were shaking so much. Going back up the 600 steps I did walk down was easier.

  2. Great post, hilarious….and I love the song…the post reminds me of a meme I just shared yesterday on my story on Instagram…”idk who needs to hear this but living your life to the fullest does not have to involve hiking” 😂

  3. Great story! And holy wow… I barely made it up the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and that was only 248 steps…I can’t imagine doing 4x that. Well done and those Portuguese donuts look awesome.

  4. Love koko head stairs, the view is unbelievable. I’ve seen girls wearing heels go up this and I’m like wtf while I’m wearing new balance sweating away, Leonard’s is the best, and running up that hill is 🔥

  5. This is a very popular song now because of Stranger Things, and has brought Kate Bush back to the limelight. Which is awesome. I have the Placebo version instead of this one, and your explanation of the meaning actually makes that one even better. My favorite Kate Bush song is her duet with Peter Gabriel, “Don’t Give Up” off of So. I’m glad the ladies are getting their due. Kirsty MacColl is another one worth listening to.
