  1. Wow! That’s a wild story about your wife. You’re right though…those reality shows will be forever accessible. The son of a close family friend had an absolutely humiliating (but thankfully short!) run on The Bachelorette.

    1. We occasionally watch the bachelorette as a guilty pleasure. I always say that the contestants are put in an abnormal environment that sends them to act in a way that they wouldn’t normally act. It’s a little crazy, but makes for good TV.

      1. It was worse than that for him. Very little food offered and tons of alcohol- all the social situations were highly manufactured by the producers-not reality at all! (But the happy ending of the story is that a fan somehow set him up with a reject from another reality show and they fell in love, got married and have a baby now. Gorgeous looking family!)

  2. This is the second time in the past 2 weeks that someone used the word ethereal to describe a sound that made my ears bleed… I think it’s a guy thing…

    1. Lol. Maybe not for everyone, and that’s ok. I remember hearing this for the first time and liked the mix of her unusual voice against the cool guitar and it was like nothing I’d heard before. Most of their music doesn’t have this type of vocals. But it was the first one to draw me in.

  3. Wow, that was unlike anything I’ve ever heard before! Loved it.

Just an aside re: your wife almost getting her 15 min of fame… from 2004-2010, there was this show called “wife swap” and they’d pick the most polar opposite people they could find. A neat-freak classical music lover from a gated community would be sent to live with a Trace Adkins fan with five kids in filthy clothes in a double-wide with chickens pecking around the living room. His wife would be sent to the gated community house.

If I recall, for one week, the replacement wife needed to live by existing house rules… but then in week 2, they had to live by HER rules.

Hysterical clashes but they usually both learned something. Fun watch if you’re ever bored. 😎

  4. I don’t blame you or your wife for not being live. That could be 15 min of shame. I can’t do that either.
Nice song! Her voice is beautiful!!!
