  1. I feel ya. Doug is a technophile so we have more than one TV, but they’re all his. I like to have newer computers so I can play games, but I wouldn’t cry long if they were lost. They are (eventually) replaceable.

  3. I’m with you on the iPhone. I have an iPhone 8 and have only recently thought about upgrading because some of the apps I download no longer work with my iOs and I can’t update it anymore. That is where they get you!

  4. Loved watching that video. Thanks for sharing it! I always liked David Byrne. Such an odd, artsy dude. The Talking Heads met at RISD – the best art school in New England. I always think of them as an “art school band.”

      1. I went to see him in his broadway show, American Utopia, a few years ago. It was more like a concert than a theater performance. People were dancing in the aisles. Really fun! I think it’s streaming now as a documentary.

  5. Nice post! I like your 1-2-3 rule of things that you take with you each day. When I leave the house, I have a mental checklist that I review to make sure I have everything. But, I always feel like I’m forgetting something. I agree that most possessions are not essential. My daughter is a minimalist, so I am trying to adopt some of her habits.
