  1. Haha, yes! I remember drinking water from the garden hose and that funky rubber taste. I did not like tap water growing up, so I drank a lot of milk and Kool-Aid. Now, filtered water is my go-to drink. Thanks for the memories!

      1. My Dad liked to experiment with the drinks in our fridge. He once combined grape Kool-Aid, orange juice (with pulp), and iced tea! It actually tasted ok, except for the floating pulp. 😂

  2. No – we never thought twice about the water fountains. We even had one at our tennis club until Covid hit! Eeee-uuuw! Gross! ( I saw them being used in India recently.)

I still drink water out a tap (fawcet) though more often than not I’ll add a splash of diluting fruit juice.

(Great choice of track, by the way. 😉 )

  3. I grew up in Africa, so faucet water was the only water available to drink. Except if someone could afford to buy Evian water! Definitely not my family.
Now I drink filtered water, and there is a specific brand of water I like to buy just for the taste.

  4. I drink canned water now because the water in our city sucks rocks. It tastes awful even when filtered. Blah. But anywhere else, I’ll drink it from the faucet.
