There are a number of movie music scenes that I’ll watch over again through the years. One of them is from the movie Begin Again. It marks a turning point for the different relationships in the movie and who knew Keira Knightly could sing.
Knightley plays a singer-songwriter who is discovered by a struggling record label executive (Ruffalo) and collaborates with him to produce an album recorded in public locations all over New York City.
– Wikipedia
The scene is a rooftop recording of Tell Me If You Want to Go Home. Keira Knightly sings lead, with a little help from Mark Ruffalo and Hailee Steinfeld.

Maybe
You don't have to smile so sad
Laugh when you're feeling bad
I promise I won't
Chase you
You don't have to dance so blue
You don't have to say I do
When baby you don't
Just tell me
The one thing you never told me
Then let go of me
Hell just throw me
Maybe if you wanna go home
Tell me if I'm back on my own
Giving back a heart that's on loan
Just tell me if you wanna go home
Oh maybe
You don't have to kill so kind
Pretend to ease my mind
When baby you won't
Oh sugar
You don't have to be so sweet
I know who you're going to meet
Don't say that I don't
So maybe
I won't let your memory haunt me
I'll be sleepwalking
With the lonely
If you're taking me home
Tell me if I'm back on my own
Giving back a heart that's on loan
Just tell me if you wanna go home
Tell me if you wanna go home
Cause I'm just not sure
Tell me if I'm back on my own
How to get back there
Giving back a heart that's on loan
And I just can't bear
Tell me if you wanna go home
If you're not there
Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Baby
If you're taking me home
Tell me if I'm back on my own
Giving back a heart that's on loan
Tell me if you wanna go
Wanna go, wanna go, wanna go, wanna
Cause I'm just not sure
How to get back there
And I just can't bear
If you're not there
Tell me if you wanna go home
Cause I'm just not sure
Tell me if I'm back on my own
How to get back there
Giving back a heart that's on loan
And I just can't bear
Just tell me if you wanna go home
Wanna go, wanna go, wanna go, wanna
Wanna go, wanna
Wanna go, wanna
I’ve never seen that movie, but I’ll have to check it out. My husband and I have been watching old 70’s TV shows because they’re nostalgic. We just commented last night that the theme music for those shows were so much better than they are now. MASH, Taxi, The Bob Newhart Show…so many great trumpets, strings, like a full orchestra.

Those are all great shows. I must have seen each MASH episode five times. I can never get tired of it. Although not from the 70s, I love Cheers. I can watch that over and over.

You’re like my husband – watching certain scenes over and over. I need to re-watch from beginning to end or not all!

Haha… there are a bunch of movies that I can’t help watch a bunch of times but, yes… I’ll watch scenes over and over. It’s a good quick fix

Just finished watching the YouTube video. I didn’t know that Keira Knightly could sing either!
She’s one of my favorite actors.

I didn’t know she could sing either. I’m always amazed when I see a mainstream actor take on a singing role. So brave

Hubs is one who likes to rewatch certain scenes. I usually watch along but if I’m going to rewatch I would typically watch the whole film or episode.

I haven’t seen the movie, but her and Ruffalo make it a good draw. I like the song choice. Upbeat, and catchy too. Nice post!

It was a good movie. I didn’t hear much about it when it was released and stumbled upon it streaming one day. I liked the storyline between the two and the perfect timing of their chance meeting to lift one another up. I always liked this scene.
