  1. I think I was a bit too old (and busy with kids) to really appreciate Alanis in the 90s, but I saw the musical “Jagged Little Pill” in its pre-Broadway run in Cambridge a few years ago and I loved it. “You Learn”was the finale. So good.

  2. “Sometimes it seems it might be easier to go through life dumb and happy.” I like it! Playing dumb has been my new character lately.

  3. In our attempt o encourage people to recognize their own uniqueness, I think some people take that idea too far. They start to think “i’m right; you’re wrong” I know part of that stems from our youth; but some people never seem to grow out of the sense of self-centeredness

  4. Great song! I love her voice. I never would have guessed that you are stubborn, but that can actually be a positive character trait. You are probably more likely to stand up for what you believe in and less likely to follow the crowd.

    1. Thanks for that. I’d never heard that song before. I really like this one.

I was a casual fan of Morrisette back in the 90’s. I never bought any of her CDs and would enjoy whatever they played on the radio. Since starting this blog, I’ve developed an appreciation for her music. Damn, she’s pretty good. I guess late to the party is better than not attending at all…
