I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ve worn pants everyday for the past few weeks straight. For those of you on the east coast, you’re probably scratching your head. It’s winter. What’s the big deal. But the weather here has ranged from the high 60’s to the low 80’s. Even at that lower end, I typically wear shorts. This may be a subtle hint that my age is creeping up on me. I’d rather blame in on December. That sounds a whole lot better.
Here’s an uplifting piano solo from George Winston’s album December. It’s difficult feeling down while listening to something as beautiful as this – Variations on the Kanon. One of my all time favorites. A perfect way to begin the week.

I can relate to wearing shorts in the winter. We’ve been breaking records for a week now for high temps in the mid 80’s. It just doesn’t seem like Christmas. Fortunately, there is a storm headed our way tomorrow bringing rain chances for Christmas Day! Yippee! 😁☔
Thank you for sharing beautiful music to begin the week!

Yeah, it’s been really cold in the mornings. The fog is so thick, I couldn’t even see 100 ft in front of me. I like it though because it helps daffodils and tulips grow better in my garden because the cold temps help them to sprout. Stay warm!

I’ve noticed the fog on a few occasions, but that sounds really thick!

Stunning–and no, I am not referring to your legs in shorts. 😂
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Metro Detroit here. I have a neighbor across the street from me who works in a factory, so whenever he’s home, he will never wear long pants. I will see him out shoveling snow, wearing a heavy winter coat, hat, glove, gloves, boots… and shorts
I just wanted to share that for no particular reason.
Happy holidays!

Oh man. Such a great comment! I can totally imagine it.
I will say, it’s a toss up which is worse. LA smog or shoveling snow in the cold…

I can’t speak for the smog, as I’ve only spent a few days at a time in LA. But I can say that shoveling snow sucks.

Love this variation… so perfectly matched with the snow/winter scenes.
My wife and I have flipped… I used to be the one cranking down the A/C in the FL heat while she grutzed about being cold. Now she’s not comfortable unless it’s 68 or below while I’m freezing in flannel pajamas. Solution: she got me an electric bed warmer for Christmas. Just the thing to watch Ripple with while I break a NY resolution to eat healthier 😎😂 That Dunkin down the street pulls me in like a Star Trek tractor beam 🚀
