  1. So, I guess you’re cancelling the bachelor party?

Whitney Houston is one of many to cover this Dolly Parton composition. My son, with his deep baritone voice, used to cover it with his outlaw country band and somehow managed the high notes! A great song.

  2. I think you should host an anniversary party and celebrate your love for each other, and your marriage too. It’s a wonderful opportunity to mark and enjoy that special bond. 💕

  3. Yes, you have to apply for it in person. 🤣 I never looked at ours when we got it in the mail. I just filled it away, but a few years ago I had to pull it out to prove Veronica Heintz is the same person as Veronica Hosking only to realize my name is spelled wrong on it.

  4. Phewwww… lol, “talked us off the ledge.” Glad neither of you looked one another, rubbed your chin and said “So we’re NOT married? Hmm, maybe we oughta pause here and think…” 😉

Awesome song, so filled with raw emotion. Can’t believe she’s been gone 14 years now 😢 Great post 👏

  5. You crazy kids thinking you never actually got married 😂

And the song’s even more poignant when you think about Chris Cornell dying just a few years after Whitney. Too young, both.
