  1. I’m going to disagree with you here because I watched a series with Ben Fogle (absolutely brilliant British documentary maker) where he was in China and coffee ( that thing that youngsters of today can’t live without thanks to Starbucks and Costa etc) is now delivered by drone!!!!
Premium air taxi services using electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft are launching in major cities as soon as late 2026 or 2027.
So maybe jetpacks aren’t as far away as you think!

  2. I thought cell phones back in the day were just like those transponders they used on Star Trek, lol. And, they were great for making a statement when you wanted to hang up on someone, just like Kirk did, lol… hugs

  3. This reminds me of a song that I used to listen to in the 80’s…”It’s the Eighties, So Where’s Our Rocket Packs” by Daniel Amos. It’s very quirky with lots of synthesizer and robotic voices. It poses the same questions that we have today about technology that hasn’t been realized yet.

  4. You gotta love a song with such great energy and a perfectly placed FUCK! So funny that the Violent Femmes covered a Jetsons song. And also, the Jetsons had songs?? Another great tidbit from you!
