  1. Wow that must’ve been quite the experience, hopefully you took lots of photos!
    (Peru, not the panic attack)
I love Imagine Dragons and feel like they’re kind of underrated!

  2. I remember those anxiety days…working 12 hours a day, every day, no weekends, never ending emails, bad boss, and a toddler and a baby waiting for me at home…yeah! I had some dark days too.
Imagine Dragons have some good songs. I was introduced to the band’s songs by my 11 years old son. 😄

  3. Heck, that happened to me on Tuesday. I’m not sure how I’m going to recover, honestly. Work is really hard these days, like nothing I’ve ever experienced before, and life is not easy either. It’s a sign of the times, I suppose, but I’m definitely struggling with everything but my wife, my home, and my writing. Good thing those are the most important things in the world to me.

    1. I feel for you, man. It’s not an easy thing to go through. The good thing is the most important things are solid. You gotta lean on that to help you through. Oddly enough, as much as you want to forget it, I think talking about it helps. You need a pressure release valve. Hang in there. It gets better.

  4. I definitely had hard times when I was pursuing my career alongside being a single Mum to two children. Admittedly I’ve never had a panic attack but I’ve certainly got to that “ overload” point and mentally hit a wall. I’ve also helped two colleagues through similar experiences.

Time out is the solution, time to appreciate what is really important in your life and to realise that if you dropped down dead tomorrow from work exhaustion the job/company would keep trundling on. No one is irreplaceable in a work context but those you love would truly miss you so the work/life balance it’s so important.
